Crystal Perkins
Crystal Perkins is a mother to four humans and two canines. Her background includes marketing, grant, and non-profit work. Crystal spent many years as a volunteer babywearing educator and served on the board of Babywearing International. It was this history of assisting new families, along with the personal experience of having a birth doula for her VBAC, that led Crystal to jump at the opportunity to attend doula training.
Crystal believes that pregnancy and birth are a uniquely special time for a woman. Being present as part of the birth team and helping a family to welcome new life is a exceptional honor for her. As a doula, community health worker, and a Lamaze certified childbirth educator, she considers it a privilege to provide families with informational and emotional support so that they can make informed decisions about their care.
